Yatra gave no booking access or support after SpiceJet cancelled a paid round-trip, and has not issued a full refund

A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE WITH YATRA & SPICEJET – CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND REFUND ISSUE Yatra Online Ltd. SpiceJet Limited SpiceJet Technic Private Limited Dhruv Shringi I am extremely disappointed with the experience I am facing with Yatra.com and SpiceJet. I booked a round-trip flight through Yatra from Bengaluru to Varanasi and back. I completed the payment successfully and received my e-ticket from Yatra. However, things took an unexpected turn just before my scheduled travel. ✈️ My booking details: - Passenger: Mayank Kumar - Airline: SpiceJet - Outbound Flight: SG 615 (Bengaluru → Varanasi) - Travel Date: 4 November 2026 - Return Flight: SG 618 (Varanasi → Bengaluru) - Return Date: 24 November 2026 - Yatra Booking Reference: ****** Here is what happened: 1. I successfully paid for my round-trip booking through Yatra and received the confirmed e-ticket. 2. When I tried checking my booking on SpiceJet's official website, it showed "PNR Not Found". 3. The booking was also not accessible through Yatra's My Bookings portal. 4. Subsequently, the outbound flight started showing as CANCELLED. 5. I tried contacting both Yatra and SpiceJet customer support multiple times, but nobody answered my calls. 6. Despite having paid for the tickets, I am unable to get proper confirmation or assistance regarding my booking and refund. My concern is simple: If a customer makes a successful payment and receives a confirmed e-ticket, shouldn't they be able to access their booking and receive proper assistance when something goes wrong? Why is it so difficult to reach customer support when a customer genuinely needs help? I no longer wish to travel and have requested Yatra to cancel both my onward and return bookings and provide a FULL REFUND of the total amount paid to my original payment method, without cancellation penalties for the airline-cancelled journey. I am still waiting for a proper response and resolution. Yatra Team & SpiceJet Team: Please take responsibility for this issue, investigate the booking discrepancy, and process my full refund for both journeys. Customers deserve transparency, accountability and reliable customer support, especially when their travel plans are disrupted.
