When what you book and what you get are two completely different experiences! A disappointing experience with MakeMyTrip. I recently booked a Deluxe Room worth ₹11,400 through MakeMyTrip, relying on the photographs displayed on their platform. However, upon arrival, the actual room was significantly different from what was advertised. The furniture, interiors, seating arrangement, and overall appearance were nowhere close to the expectations created by the listing. What concerns me even more is that the advertised photographs appear heavily enhanced, possibly even AI-enhanced, raising serious questions about how accurately the property was represented. I raised a refund request, but the hotel rejected it, and MakeMyTrip subsequently closed the complaint without providing a satisfactory resolution. Does a hotel's rejection automatically outweigh a customer's photographic evidence? I have already emailed MakeMyTrip with all the relevant photographs, clearly showing the differences between the advertised room and the actual accommodation. When customers book through a reputed platform like MakeMyTrip, they trust that the photographs and information provided are an accurate representation of what they're paying for. ₹11,400 isn't a small amount, and customers deserve transparency, accountability, and fair treatment. It's disappointing to see such an experience from a platform that millions of travellers rely on. Hoping MakeMyTrip takes a closer look at this matter and ensures that customer concerns are genuinely addressed rather than simply closed.
