Axis Bank, I don't need another "please wait". I need a solution before 2 November. On 4 Sep 2026, ₹1,03,029.38 was fraudulently charged to my Flipkart Axis Bank credit card (ending 2687). I did not share any OTP. Here is what has happened since: • 7 Sep: I reported the fraud at the branch. Card blocked, cyber crime complaint and e-FIR filed. • 8 Sep: Just ONE day later, Axis Bank closed my complaint, saying it will "maintain the Bank's stance". No investigation, no reason given. • Sep to Oct: I escalated to the Nodal Officer and then the Principal Nodal Officer. Every reply said the same thing: "we need more time". 10 working days became 30 working days. • 8-9 Oct: Following my police complaint, the fraudster's account was frozen. • 15 Oct: I submitted all the documents the bank asked for. • 13 Oct: Instead of shadow credit, the bank charged me ₹5,918.34 in interest and GST on the disputed fraud amount. Every time I call the credit card department, I hear only one thing: "wait". But my bills don't wait. My due date is 2 November. Where am I supposed to bring ₹1 lakh from, for a fraud I did not commit and reported on time? And why should my CIBIL score suffer for it? Under RBI's rules on unauthorised electronic transactions, a customer who reports within 3 working days has zero liability, the bank must give shadow credit within 10 working days, and the burden of proof is on the bank. It has been 7 weeks. My demands to Axis Bank, before 2 November: 1. Give shadow credit of ₹1,03,029.38 to my card 2. Reverse the ₹5,918.34 interest and GST 3. Do not report this amount as overdue to CIBIL or any credit bureau 4. Give me a written resolution, not another "please wait" Complaint ref: SR ****** If this has happened to you, please comment or share. No customer should have to fight this hard to get their own money back.
