Cars24 car bought 19 June 2026: RC transfer still pending, NOC missing, promised callback never came

I bought a car from Cars24 on 19 June 2026, and as of 1 November 2026 the RC has still not been transferred to my name. Over four months, support executives and managers have not given timely callbacks or clear updates on the RC transfer, and the customer has had to chase the team for every answer. A support executive, Tanya, said the NOC from the previous owner's bank had not yet been received by Cars24, and that the bank process could take about 60 days. The customer asks why the car was sold before the NOC was pending and documents were in order, and says Cars24 should have verified these formalities before the sale. Tanya had committed to calling the customer with an update after 27 September 2026, and no call or update followed. The customer is asking Cars24 management for ownership of the issue and a concrete resolution with a timeline, rather than another assurance or callback.
