Misleading of Network Hospitals

Star Health InsurancePC-2026-02943Insurance ClaimsAnish Nagarajan ·

This is a serious concern regarding the accuracy and reliability of Star Health Insurance’s network hospital list. Despite advertising a network of 14,000+ hospitals, several leading hospitals appear to have discontinued their association with the insurer, raising questions about whether the information provided to prospective and existing policyholders is being updated appropriately. Directing customers to the company website and quoting the advertised network size is not sufficient when the actual availability of cashless treatment at individual hospitals remains uncertain. Such discrepancies can mislead customers into purchasing policies based on information that may not reflect current ground realities. I request Star Health Insurance to provide accurate, updated hospital network information, ensure transparency in its sales practices, and take immediate corrective action. Customers deserve reliable information and accountability, particularly when their healthcare and financial security are at stake.
