Paid Niva Bupa application stuck behind broken upload form with refund requested

I paid for a Niva Bupa health insurance policy on 21 October 2026. Application number: ******. Amount: ₹19,284.16. The bank debit and Niva Bupa’s own payment confirmation both landed the same day. Their email said one form was left to complete. That form still will not accept my ID photos. It shows file sizes in the millions of KB for images that are a few megabytes on disk. Until the form works, the application cannot finish. I called the helpline listed in their email roughly ten times. The line was choppy. The team could not follow the issue. There was no callback. On 27 October I wrote to their Grievance Redressal Officer at ******, from the same Yahoo address that received their payment confirmation, asking for the policy to be issued another way or for a full refund within 15 days, with a complaint reference. The only reply was an automated “Unregistered Email ID” bounce — for the inbox that already holds their payment mail. As of today there is still no human reply, no complaint reference, no policy, and no refund. Niva Bupa Health Insurance Niva Bupa Support — please either complete application ****** or refund ₹19,284.16, and send a complaint reference for the GRO mail of 27 October.
