IndusInd Bank deducted ₹6,431 in cash withdrawal charges from an Indus Grandé account that lists free branch withdrawals

Subject: Dispute of Unauthorised Cash Withdrawal Charges – Indus Grandé Add-on Savings Account Dear Grievance Redressal Team, I wish to formally dispute the cash withdrawal charges deducted from my Indus Grandé Add-on Savings Account. I withdrew cash through self-withdrawal transactions on 16 October 2026 and 17 October 2026. Subsequently, on 20 October 2026, the bank deducted the following amounts: 1. ₹5,841 – Cash withdrawal charges 2. ₹590 – Cash withdrawal charges Total disputed amount: ₹6,431. I would like to understand under which RBI guidelines and approved bank tariff these charges have been imposed. My account belongs to the Indus Grandé Add-on Savings Account category. As per the published benefits of Indus Grandé accounts, cash withdrawal at IndusInd Bank branches in India is listed as a free facility. Therefore, I request the bank to: 1. Provide the exact schedule of charges applicable to my account on the transaction dates. 2. Identify the specific contractual provision authorising these deductions. 3. Provide the detailed calculation of both charges, including GST. 4. Explain why charges were imposed despite the cash withdrawal benefits associated with the Indus Grandé account. 5. Reverse the disputed amount of ₹6,431 if the deductions are not authorised under my account's applicable terms and conditions. Please treat this as a formal banking grievance and provide a written response. If the matter is not resolved satisfactorily, I reserve the right to escalate the complaint to the Reserve Bank of India through its Complaint Management System.
