Croma took Rs. 38,000 for an E-Gift Card, never delivered it, and has given no refund after 5+ days of stalling

I paid Croma Rs. 38,000 for an E-Gift Card on 27 Oct 2026, and I still haven't received it. Order EC264132062208 shows as "Delivered" on Croma's site, but the gift card never reached my email. The "Resend EGV" button fails every time. I raised Ticket ****** on 28 Oct. Since then I've followed up on 29, 30 and 31 Oct. Every reply says the same thing: wait another 24 hours. Croma's customer support has been pathetic. There is no accountability, and no one gives me an actual update. They just keep saying "wait 24 hours". At one point they even blamed my network, saying the "Resend GV" failure was an issue on my end. I'm a backend developer and I build systems like this for a living. I checked the request myself: Croma's own server returns a 400 failure. The problem is on their side, not mine. Honestly, I didn't expect this from a Tata company. Tata Group companies like TCS are known for strong, well-run service teams, and I expected the same standard at Croma. Tata Group Croma I don't want the gift card anymore. I just want my Rs. 38,000 back. I've now filed a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH).
