Reliance Digital & Samsung India - Damaged Samsung QLED TVs Delivered & Unresolved Warranty Claim

I am extremely disappointed with the way my complaints regarding two Samsung QLED TVs — 65-inch and 55-inch — purchased from Reliance Digital have been handled. The televisions were delivered in damaged and broken condition. Despite having both brand warranty and extended warranty coverage, we have been repeatedly following up with customer care, only to see complaints being closed without any actual resolution. There have been multiple calls, conversations and assurances, yet neither Samsung India nor Reliance Digital has provided a satisfactory solution. What is even more concerning is that we have now been informed that we may have to pay approximately ₹75,000 towards repairs. Why should a customer be asked to pay for repairs when both devices are under brand warranty and are additionally covered by a paid extended warranty? As per the latest conversation with the Reliance Digital customer care team, the executive also stated that, considering the nature of the issues, the TVs should ideally be replaced. It was further communicated that the matter would be attended to on priority and that a technician would visit to assess the TVs and provide a solution. However, since that conversation, there has been: • No technician visit • No proper communication • No concrete resolution At the same time, complaint tickets continue to be closed. This is simply not acceptable. We chose Samsung because of the trust, reputation and after-sales support associated with the brand. We also consciously purchased an extended warranty from Reliance Digital because we expected additional protection and peace of mind.
