🚨 ₹61,522 FRAUDULENTLY CHARGED TO MY SBI CREDIT CARD – SEEKING ACCOUNTABILITY FROM SBI CARD I never imagined that a phone call from someone claiming to be an SBI Credit Card representative could turn into such a distressing financial experience. On 17 October 2026, I received a call from an individual claiming to represent SBI Credit Card. He informed me that international transactions had been enabled on my credit card and that ₹3,500 would be deducted by the end of the day. He then instructed me to disable international transactions to avoid this deduction. Trusting the caller and believing that I was protecting my account, I followed his instructions. However, what happened next was shocking. Within a short period, two unauthorized transactions of ₹30,761.10 each, totalling ₹61,522.20, were made using my SBI Credit Card. The transaction alerts identified the merchant as Twallet, Hyderabad. What makes this incident even more concerning is that I also received SBI Card online login alerts around the same time. Here is what I have done so far: Reported the fraudulent transactions to SBI Card. Raised a transaction dispute with SBI Card. Registered a complaint on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. Received the cybercrime complaint acknowledgement number: ******. Despite taking these steps, I am seeking proper investigation, accountability and resolution of this matter. My questions to SBI Card are: How could two transactions totalling ₹61,522.20 take place under these circumstances? What security mechanisms are in place to protect customers against impersonation and social engineering fraud? What action is being taken to investigate these disputed transactions? How will SBI Card help me recover the amount lost through these fraudulent transactions? I understand that customers must remain vigilant against fraud. However, financial institutions must also ensure that their customers have effective security mechanisms, responsive dispute resolution and adequate support when such incidents occur. I am publicly raising this issue not only to seek resolution of my own case but also to create awareness so that others do not fall victim to similar scams. I sincerely request the concerned SBI Card management and authorities to intervene, investigate this incident and help resolve my complaint. I am looking for: A fair and transparent investigation. Reversal of the disputed amount of ₹61,522.20, subject to investigation. Accountability for the fraudulent activity. A clear response from the concerned authorities. I hope this post reaches the right people and helps bring attention to this matter. Customers deserve financial security, transparency and accountability. #SBICard #CreditCardFraud #CyberCrime #FinancialFraud #DigitalBanking #ConsumerRights #CyberSecurity #CustomerProtection #RBI #Justice SALILA PANDE SBI Card Reserve Bank of India (RBI) CyberDost I4C
