Booking ID: NH20175519457378nI am forced to take this public after facing a complete deadlock with MakeMyTrip customer support regarding an unsafe hotel booking Riverdale resort in Munnar on 15 October 2026. Despite trusting MMT 4-star resort rating, we arrived with kids and elderly parents to find the property completely isolated, accessible only via a dangerously broken hill road that our car could not navigate. When we finally managed to reach at 2:00 PM, the resort was completely deserted—no staff and absolutely no food/lunch facilities available. Stranded in rain with a vulnerable family and zero basic amenities nearby, we had no choice but to immediately book alternative accommodation out of pocket for our safety and well-being. The Issue: Misleading 4-star safety/amenity ratings on MMT. The hotel owner rejected the refund on 17 October. The Escalation: MakeMyTrip has completely hidden behind automated systems. I am unable to connect with a real human or customer support manager to review this critical safety grievance. MakeMyTrip : You must take ownership of the properties you verify and promote on your platform. I expect a full refund for this booking immediately.
