MakeMyTrip refund of ₹22,000 pending after airline-cancelled SpiceJet flights despite repeated follow-ups

An unresolved ₹22,000 refund. Multiple follow-ups. No response from MakeMyTrip I’m sharing this here because our attempts to resolve the issue directly with MakeMyTrip have gone nowhere. We booked Mumbai–Delhi return flights through MakeMyTrip with SpiceJet. Both flights were cancelled by the airline, and SpiceJet has confirmed that the refund has been initiated from its end. However, our ₹22,000 refund remains unresolved, and we haven’t been able to get a clear response from MakeMyTrip despite repeated emails and calls. What’s frustrating is not just the delay, but the complete lack of communication. If a processing issue or something is pending from our end, we should at least be told what it is. Instead, we’re left chasing customer support with no clarity on when we’ll get our money back. Travel disruptions are frustrating enough. Customers shouldn’t have to go through a separate struggle just to get a refund for flights that were cancelled by the airline. MakeMyTrip, we need a clear explanation of what’s holding up this refund and, more importantly, a resolution. It’s disappointing that a customer has to resort to a public post to get a company's attention.
