AC stopped working after bodywork and servicing at Tata Motors Meerut and extra charges requested

Disappointing After-Sales Service Experience with Tata Motors – Shri Vashu Tata Motors, Meerut I am sharing my recent experience with Shri Vashu Tata Motors, Meerut, hoping that the Tata Motors management will take notice and address this issue. My car was initially submitted to the service centre for bodywork following a minor accident. After the bodywork was completed, I handed over the vehicle for routine servicing as well. The AC was working perfectly before I handed over my vehicle, but when I received it back, the AC had stopped working. I revisited the service centre to report the issue, expecting a proper inspection and a satisfactory resolution. Unfortunately, my concern was not addressed appropriately. Instead, I was asked to leave the vehicle at the service centre for several days, with additional charges potentially applicable. My questions are simple: * How did the AC suddenly stop working while my vehicle was in the service centre’s care? * Why should I be expected to pay additional charges for an issue that appeared immediately after the vehicle was returned? * Is this the kind of after-sales service and customer support a customer should expect from a reputed brand like Tata Motors? I understand that technical issues can occur, but customers deserve transparency, accountability, and a fair resolution, especially when a problem arises immediately after a vehicle has been serviced. I request Tata Motors’ senior management and customer relations team to look into this matter, arrange a proper inspection, and help resolve the issue fairly. I chose Tata Motors with trust, and I hope the company will uphold that trust through its after-sales service.
