Delayed health insurance reimbursement claims of ₹60,600 pending over 15 days

Think twice before buying health insurance from Aditya Birla Capital & Medi Assist I want to bring my friend Tapesh Kumar's experience with Aditya Birla Capital and Medi Assist to the attention of their senior leadership. Tapesh Kumar has been waiting for the resolution of two reimbursement claims totalling ₹60,600. Despite repeated follow-ups over more than 15 days, he says he has submitted all available documents and repeatedly requested that Medi Assist contact the hospital directly for additional documents. Only recently did the team confirm that it would contact the hospital. Why did it take so long to act on a request that had already been raised multiple times? Why should a customer facing financial difficulties have to chase the claims team repeatedly for a clear answer? This experience has seriously damaged my confidence in these organisations. In my view, the way this case has been handled raises serious questions about transparency, accountability and customer service. I urge prospective customers to research these organisations' claim settlement processes and grievance records carefully before purchasing their policies. Do not judge an insurance company only by its promises when selling a policy; examine how it treats customers when they actually need support. I request Mayank Bathwal, Vishakha Mulye, @Kumar Mangalam , Satish Gidugu and Gaurav Bhatnagar to intervene and ensure a fair, time-bound resolution.
