Delhivery delivery complaint over damaged COD clothing order and no refund assistance

Disappointed with Delhivery's handling of a suspected fraudulent delivery and complete lack of accountability. Today (October 11th, 2026), I received my clothing order (Order ID: #ALU29961, Invoice no. Retail68913, Invoice Date : 2026-10-06), and the experience was shocking. Instead of the product I ordered, I received an old, damaged piece of clothing. The seller appears suspicious, raising serious concerns about the legitimacy of the business. What made the experience even worse was the response from Delhivery's delivery person. Even after seeing the damaged product, the delivery person refused to return my money. Despite the issue being evident, I was left without a refund or a satisfactory resolution. This was a Cash on Delivery (COD) order. As a customer, I paid for a product that was clearly not in acceptable condition, yet I am now being made to chase a resolution. Delhivery, I have some serious questions: What recourse does a customer have when a shipment contains an old, damaged product from a potentially fraudulent seller? Why was the delivery person unwilling to help even after seeing the damaged item? What grievance redressal mechanism does Delhivery offer to customers who find themselves in such situations? Who will take responsibility for helping me recover my money? I understand that a logistics company may not manufacture or sell the products it delivers. However, customers deserve proper assistance, transparency, and a clear resolution process when a delivery goes wrong. Delhivery, please investigate Order ID #ALU29961, look into the conduct of the delivery person, and help me recover my money. A company’s commitment to customer experience is truly tested when something goes wrong. Delivering a parcel is one thing; helping customers deal with a potentially fraudulent transaction is another.
