Cashify refund issued after laptop deemed non-repairable; customer seeks verification of similar listed device

Cashify for work. After reporting warrantPC-2026-01984OtherAnonymous ·
Cashify called my laptop “non-repairable.” Then I found a listing that raised a serious question: could this be my returned laptop? I purchased a refurbished HP EliteBook 845 G7 from Cashify for work. After reporting warranty issues, Cashify received the laptop and processed a ₹25,399.12 refund on 29 September 2026—without my requesting one. Cashify says the device was deemed non-repairable and no suitable replacement was available. However, I later found a Cashify listing for the same configuration showing distinctive scratches and marks that appear to match my photographs. I am not claiming visual similarity proves the device’s identity. Cashify can verify that through its internal records. I have asked for a clear, evidence-based explanation. I sent supplementary photographs on 7 October. As of 9 October, I have not received a substantive response to that evidence. This dispute has been ongoing since 17 September. Meanwhile, losing a laptop purchased for work has affected my ability to pursue work opportunities and caused financial hardship. I am seeking appropriate compensation and clear answers: - Can Cashify verify whether the listed laptop is the same unit I returned? - What technical findings justified the “non-repairable” decision? - Why was a refund processed without my consent to that remedy? - What fair resolution will Cashify offer for the resulting hardship? How much longer should a customer have to wait for a meaningful answer? Mandeep Manocha Cashify , I request a substantive, accountable response. #Cashify #ConsumerRights #CustomerExperience #ConsumerAwareness #RefurbishedTech
