Axis Bank - Excessive MDR (2.10% + GST) and Monthly Service Charges Deducted on UPI QR Payments

Dear Axis Bank, I am extremely concerned about the charges being deducted from payments received through my Axis Bank QR code. My client paid fees through UPI using the Axis Bank QR code. However, MDR of 2.10% plus GST was deducted from the payout. My understanding is that MDR on UPI is only 0.4%. Why then, am I being charged MDR at 2.10% plus GST? Apart from MDR, I am also being charged monthly fees: 1. Service Charges: ₹118 per monthn2. QR Charges: ₹118 per monthn3. Transaction MDR: 2.10% plus GST, as deducted from the payoutn As a service provider, every rupee matters. Clients pay us for our hard work, but when multiple charges are deducted from our earnings, it becomes increasingly difficult to sustain a small business. I request Axis Bank to: Provide a detailed explanation of the 2.10% MDR deduction on my UPI QR transaction. Axis Bank
