My experience with Urban Company has raised serious concerns about accountability, service quality, and the way customer grievances are handled. When a technician allegedly causes serious damage to a customer's appliance during a repair, who takes responsibility? And when a customer presents evidence but still struggles to obtain a fair resolution, where does the promised professionalism and corporate ethics stand? I am not questioning the education or integrity of every IIM alumnus. I am asking a fundamental question about the values that businesses practise after their leaders leave prestigious institutions. Is business success measured only by revenue and growth, or also by honesty, accountability, and respect for customers? If business schools teach ethical leadership, shouldn't those principles be reflected in the companies their alumni lead and represent?
