HSBC India - Credit Card Issue Resolved After Public Social Media Escalation

Hsbc IndiaPC-2026-01851E-commerceAnonymous ·
Update: My HSBC India credit card issue has been resolved. Following my previous post, I received an immediate response from HSBC after raising the issue on social media, and the matter was resolved on priority. Thank you to everyone who engaged with and supported my earlier post. While I am glad the issue is resolved, it raises a bigger question: Why did it take a public social media post for my complaint to receive attention when I had already approached the Bank through its official grievance redressal channel? Social media should be an additional channel for engagement, not a prerequisite for getting a complaint addressed. Not everyone has the reach or the confidence to raise issues publicly. Should getting a company's attention depend on how visible your complaint becomes? Every customer's voice should matter, whether or not their complaint is visible to the public. For context, heres my original post detailing the issue: https://lnkd.in/p/dDJwzkAU #HSBC #CustomerExperience #CustomerService #Accountability
