Digit Insurance - Arbitrary Headlamp Claim Rejection and Refusal to Provide Technical Assessment

Go Digit General InsurancePC-2026-02335Insurance ClaimsAnonymous ·
Does a High Claim Settlement Ratio Tell the Whole Story?nnDear Ms. Jasleen Kohli and Digit Insurance,nnIf a customer claims ₹100 and the insurer approves only ₹10, what does the headline claim-settlement percentage tell that customer about the actual claim experience?nnMy own motor insurance claim raises this concern. Following a front-end collision, the Kia service centre identified damage to the bumper and both headlamps after dismantling the vehicle. Go Digit rejected both headlamps, stating that the damage was inconsistent with the reported accident.nnDespite repeated escalations, I have not received the detailed technical assessment or supporting rejection documents I requested. Instead, I continue to receive template responses.nnI am not claiming that every rejected component must automatically be paid. I am asking for a transparent, evidence-based decision and a clear explanation of the assessment.nnClaim settlement should be judged not only by whether a claim is marked as settled, but also by transparency, fair assessment and the customer's actual experience.nnMs. Kohli, I request your intervention and a reasoned resolution.
