Niva Bupa health claim stuck at 'Reconsideration' stage despite timely hospitalisation documents

Dear Niva Bupa Health Insurance Niva Bupa Support Policybazaar.com, We hold a health insurance policy, Policy No. ****** (PB Reference ID: 6087800), under which we filed a claim immediately following hospitalization. However, despite submitting the required documents on time, our claim has remained stuck at the “Reconsideration” stage since September 24, 2026, and the expected approval date of October 19, 2026 shown on the tracker has already passed without any resolution. During this period, verification agents also visited our home in person, and we cooperated fully with every query and document check. Yet following the home visit, the agents and support team have become completely unresponsive to our follow-ups. Therefore, I am unable to understand why our claim continues to remain on hold past the communicated approval timeline, with zero communication despite completed verification and full cooperation from our end. I request you to kindly clarify the following: - What's the reason for the claim being stuck even the past expected approval date without any written update or query raised? - Why have the assigned agents become completely unresponsive after visiting our home? - By what exact date will the claim approval and final settlement be completed? Please provide a detailed status update on our claim, along with the specific policy clause or pending requirement (if any) causing this delay.
