Thai Airways TG 326 ₹14,607 refund: written eligibility confirmed, airline refuses, pushes to MakeMyTrip

I booked Thai Airways flight TG 326 from Bengaluru to Bangkok on 29 September 2026 (PNR 9N9LGP), booked through MakeMyTrip. After the flight was cancelled or disrupted, I requested a full refund of ₹14,607. MakeMyTrip said it had raised a query with the airline on 5 October. Thai Airways then directed me back to MakeMyTrip, saying the booking was made through the travel agent. Thai Airways had confirmed in writing that I would be eligible for a full refund, but it is now refusing to process the refund and has classified the booking as a no-show. I have shared the documentation and email correspondence, and escalated through the National Consumer Helpline (grievance no. 10509571). The customer asks Thai Airways and MakeMyTrip to take ownership, honour the written refund confirmation, and provide a clear resolution instead of passing responsibility between each other.
