SBI FASTag blacklisted a tag with a paid Annual Pass and active status, and the helpline and emails gave no fix

. SBI FASTag is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. My vehicle (HR10AM****) has a valid SBI FASTag, a paid Annual Pass and balance in the wallet. It still shows BLACKLISTED. The official status screen (screenshot attached, checked on 4 Nov 2026) says it all: → FASTag status: BLACKLISTED → The same screen: "Your Tag is Active… contact your bank" → Annual Pass: ACTIVE, valid till 24 Jan 2027, 46 of 200 crossings still left So the system itself calls my tag active and tells me to contact my bank. I did. Here is what SBI FASTag gave me: ❌ Called the SBI FASTag helpline 1800 110 018: no solution, just a list of email IDs ❌ Wrote to those email IDs: not a single written reply ❌ Result: tag still blacklisted, zero remedy A blacklisted tag is treated as no tag at a toll plaza. That means penalty toll, on a pass I have already paid for in full. This is not customer service. This is harassment. Silence, runaround and mental agony are all SBI FASTag has delivered. I am a practising advocate. If this is how SBI treats a customer who knows his rights, imagine what ordinary FASTag users go through every day. SBI has left me no other choice. I am filing a case in consumer court against State Bank of India for deficiency in service under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and I will claim compensation for the harassment and mental agony, with costs. SBI, you had every chance to fix this quietly. Now explain it before the Consumer Commission. To every FASTag user: screenshot everything, save every email, note every call. Don't let them wear you down.
