Reporting on a state funeral. A lot has happened in less than a week with 7 new bylines, two of which were from attending the state funeral of legendary actor Nana Patekar. It was quite a hectic day, where over a thousand people came to pay their respects, and I stayed past midnight, having already been at the venue for over 7 hours. The other stories I covered included Ireland being chosen by many Indian students for further studies, attending a play on the movie Sound of Music, performed by only school kids, asking students on their views on the latest SIR and CEC controversies, interviewing the Secretary General of the Cycling Federation of India, Maninder Pal Singh, and Pune District Collector Jitendra Dudi on the topics of Pune Grand Tour 2027 and the UCI World Road Championships 2032, and finally ending with a food story of the rise of shawarma popularity and restaurants in Pune.
