Raheja QBE & Medi Assist TPA - Arbitrary Health Insurance Claim Rejection for Elevated Creatinine (Claim ID: 53172978)

Raheja QBE General Insurance / Medi Assist TPAPC-2026-02677OtherAnonymous ·
Strongly Disappointed with MEDI ASSIST INDIA TPA PRIVATE LIMITED & Raheja QBE General Insurance Company Limited, Policybazaar.com – Unfair Health Insurance Claim Rejectionn I am raising this grievance publicly regarding the rejection of my uncle's health insurance claim, despite having maintained an active health insurance policy for more than two years without making any previous claim. Policyholder: Mr. Shish RamnClaim ID: 53172978nEmergency Ticket Number: 42079555n The emergency claim was submitted two days ago and has now been rejected on the grounds of elevated creatinine levels. This decision is extremely disappointing and raises serious concerns about the fairness and transparency of the claim assessment process. What makes this case particularly concerning is that the policy schedule mentions "NA" under Pre-Existing Diseases and Permanent Exclusions for the policyholder. Yet, the claim has been rejected citing elevated creatinine levels, without the matter being adequately explained to us. An elevated creatinine level alone should not automatically be considered conclusive evidence of a pre-existing disease without proper medical assessment and consideration of the patient's medical history. Health insurance is purchased to provide financial protection during medical emergencies, not to leave policyholders struggling with unexpected medical expenses when they need support the most. We have maintained the policy in good faith, and we expect the insurance provider and its TPA to honour their responsibility by assessing claims fairly, transparently, and in accordance with the policy terms. I strongly urge MEDI ASSIST INDIA TPA PRIVATE LIMITED and Raheja QBE General Insurance Company Limited Policybazaar.com to intervene immediately, reopen this claim for a fair medical reassessment, and provide a justified written explanation for the rejection. A policyholder's genuine medical emergency deserves a fair review, not an unexplained rejection. I expect this grievance to be taken seriously and resolved without further delay. #MediAssist #RahejaQBE #HealthInsurance #ClaimRejection #InsuranceGrievance #PolicyholderRights #FairClaimSettlement #CustomerRights
