Customer says Lenskart quoted ₹5,000 lens, added unwanted subscription, and took photos without consent

Lenskart.com : Premium Showrooms, But Where Is the Customer Experience? My recent experience with Lenskart across multiple stores has been extremely disappointing. What looks premium from the outside tells a very different story inside. 1. Questionable pricing: I was quoted around ₹5,000 for a lens, while what I understood to be the same lens was available elsewhere for approximately ₹900. Such a huge difference deserves a clear explanation. 2. Unwanted subscription: My friend explicitly declined a ₹200 subscription while purchasing contact lenses, yet it appeared to be included in the payment QR code. Optional services should never be added without customer consent. 3. Customer privacy concerns: During our visits, photographs were taken without my permission being sought, and contact details were repeatedly requested. Customers deserve transparency about why their photos and personal information are being collected and how they will be used. A premium-looking showroom means nothing if pricing transparency, customer consent, and trust are missing. My questions to Lenskart's management: - Why was an unwanted subscription apparently included? - What is your policy on taking customer photographs and obtaining consent? A premium brand is not defined by its interiors or marketing. It is defined by how it treats its customers. #Lenskart #CustomerExperience #ConsumerRights #CustomerPrivacy
