🚨 A PATHETIC EXPERIENCE WITH Paytm Paytm Travel — WHO IS ACCOUNTABLE?
I booked a SpiceJet Limited flight (SG-212) from Kolkata to New Delhi on 20 October, scheduled for 24 October 2026. On 21 October, Paytm emailed me that the flight had been cancelled by the airline.
When I contacted SpiceJet, I was told the flight had reportedly been cancelled on 13 October, and my PNR was not registered in their system.
If that's the case, why was the flight still available to book on Paytm on 20 October? Even now, my Paytm app shows "Booking Successful" despite the cancellation email!
The customer support experience is equally frustrating.n☎️ Helplines and WhatsApp keep redirecting me to a chatbot that cannot understand my issue.n🤖 I submitted a complaint with received email screenshots and was promised a response within 6 hours. It has now been 8 hours, with no meaningful update.n✉️ Email support is no better. Instead of addressing my concern, the system keeps creating new complaint tickets. I have received two case references but no actual resolution.
Creating tickets is not the same as resolving complaints!
Paytm Paytm Travel, Please answer these questions:
1. If the flight was cancelled on 13 October, why was it still bookable on 20 October?
2. How was my booking confirmed if the airline says my PNR was not registered?
3. Why does the app still show "Booking Successful"?
4. Why should I wait 20–30 working days for a refund when my journey is just two days away?
5. Who will cover the additional cost of an alternative flight if prices have increased because of this situation?
6. Why is there no effective human support for an urgent travel issue?
7. Who is taking ownership of this complaint instead of sending automated acknowledgements?
What I expect TODAY, 22 October:n✅ Confirmation and expedited processing of my full refund.n✅ A fair review of reimbursement for the additional cost of alternative travel.n✅ A written explanation of the booking and cancellation status.n✅ Immediate escalation to a responsible human representative.
My travel date is 24 October, and I need to arrange alternative travel urgently. I cannot keep waiting while ticket prices rise and availability changes.
Paytm Paytm Travel , I need a real response and concrete action today—not another automated acknowledgement. Customers deserve reliable booking information, effective support, and accountability when things go wrong.
Please investigate and resolve this urgently.
