Afrihost broadband complaint: delayed support, incorrect Openserve order, and charges despite no service

A follow up on my previous post: If you want fast broadband, do not use Afrihost, yes it is cheap, yes a lot of promises are made, for instance, they claim to be a service provider in partnership with Openserve yet there is not any real partnership when problems arise. You left with service managers calling you, a helpdesk that gives you ticket numbers, and after 8 days no feedback. Mind you, half a month and a month of payments have been taken by debit order. Telkom billed a callout fee for the Openserve technician that came out only to find out that the order was submitted incorrectly. This little situation caused over 20GB of cellular data to be purchased and contrary to initial communication via Whatsapp, you cannot keep your original number it must be ported to Afrihost and you can use their VOIP services. You end up in a dark hole, where you will receive feedback that never comes. Then you start to threaten them and still no joy, and then you take action like I do at present and publish this lack of service on spaces like LinkedIn, Facebook, and MyBroadband. Althon Beukes, Gian Visser I mentioned before that your companies processes and systems are in shambles, it is worse than that. It is obviously non-existent. Why do I write this, because another fool/s will end up with the same situation, paying for non-existent services and having to pay exuberant data costs for something that is not your issue? Obviously, nobody at the 1st and 2nd level support desk has any authority and after more than 30 minutes on the phone today, no managers are readily available. So let us wash the dirty laundry in public for a few days, 5 times a day, let us call it free publicity until this is resolved or not.
