Horrible Experience with MAID IN INDIA — Extremely Disappointing! Samay Malik Sanskar Malikn
We booked a maid through Maid in India for 9 AM and another for 11 AM. Neither booking was fulfilled as scheduled.
What followed was incredibly frustrating:nn* Repeated calls just to get an update.n* No proactive communication from the team.n* Being told that their system doesn’t show bookings unless customers call them.n* Having to chase the team repeatedly for a refund for both bookings.
A 9 AM booking was eventually pushed to 12:30 PM, by which time we had already made alternative arrangements.
The worst part? The way customer calls were handled.
The person handling customer support through ****** repeatedly disconnected our calls. On one occasion, the call was disconnected while we were still speaking, after the person said they needed to check the details. If a representative cannot resolve an issue immediately, the bare minimum is to communicate professionally, explain the next steps, and ensure the customer receives a proper response.
Instead, we were left repeatedly calling and messaging just to get a resolution.
Why should customers have to chase a company for a service they've already paid for?
If your system cannot track confirmed bookings, that is an internal operational issue—not the customer’s responsibility.
Maid in India, this experience was unacceptable. Customers’ time matters, and basic communication, professionalism, and accountability should be standard.
We have requested a refund for both bookings and now we have been begging for our own money!
Taking bookings and accepting payments is the easy part. Delivering the promised service and taking responsibility when things go wrong is what truly matters.
I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and improves its service.
