Škoda India - Vehicle Fire Incident in 2024 Škoda Kushaq 1.0 TSI Ambition & Lack of Safety Certification, Investigation Transparency, or Vehicle Replacement

Škoda IndiaPC-2026-02831OtherAnonymous ·
🚨 SERIOUS CONCERNS OVER VEHICLE FIRE, NEGLIGENCE, DELAY, AND LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY AT ŠKODA INDIAn I am deeply disappointed with the way Škoda India and its authorised service network have handled the fire incident involving my 2024 Škoda Kushaq 1.0 TSI Ambition.nn🔥 My key concerns:nn• Vehicle fire incident: My car caught fire on 2 July 2026 around 5:45am, raising serious concerns about vehicle safety and reliability.nn• Delayed communication: Despite repeated follow-ups, obtaining clear explanations and proper documentation has been a prolonged struggle.nn• Lack of accountability: Instead of proactively addressing the seriousness of the incident, I have had to repeatedly pursue the concerned teams for answers and evidence.nn• Unresolved safety concerns: The vehicle has undergone repairs, including battery replacement and inspections, but I have not received a formal written confirmation establishing that the vehicle is safe to drive.nn• Loss of trust: A vehicle fire is not an ordinary service complaint. It is a serious safety incident that demands transparency, urgency, and clear ownership from the manufacturer. My question to Škoda India is simple: Who takes responsibility when a customer’s vehicle catches fire, and why must the customer repeatedly chase the company for answers? I purchased a Škoda expecting safety, reliability, and professional support. Instead, this prolonged experience has left me questioning the company’s commitment to customer safety and accountability. I am seeking:n✅ A transparent and independent investigation into the fire incident.n✅ Complete technical reports and supporting documentation.n✅ A formal written assessment of the vehicle’s safety.n✅ Replacement of the vehicle and appropriate compensation for the incident, the resulting inconvenience, and the loss of confidence. I urge Škoda India’s senior leadership and customer experience teams to take ownership of this matter and provide a clear, time-bound resolution rather than treating it as a routine repair case. Customer safety is not negotiable. Accountability should not require endless follow-ups. I hope Škoda India will respond with action, transparency, and responsibility. #SkodaIndia #SkodaKushaq #JaiSkodaGurgaon #PremSkoda #CustomerSafety #VehicleFire #CustomerRights #CorporateAccountability #AutomotiveSafety #ConsumerRights
