ACS later located parcel after prior confirmation it had not been dropped off

ACS itselfPC-2026-02008OtherAnonymous ·
UPDATE — ACS HAS NOW LOCATED THE PARCEL. This materially changes the situation I previously posted about. Vinted repeatedly informed me that ACS had confirmed that my parcel was “not originally dropped off by the sender.” On that basis, Vinted cancelled my transaction, refunded the buyer, denied compensation and ultimately declared its decision “final.” I maintained throughout that I had physically deposited the parcel at the ACS drop-off point on 23 September. ACS has now contacted me directly and confirmed that the parcel has been found. This raises serious questions about how this case was investigated and how Vinted reached its decision. If the parcel has now been located by the carrier, on what factual basis was I repeatedly told that it had not been dropped off? Why was I blamed for an unspecified “incorrect drop-off procedure”? Why was the transaction cancelled before the parcel was properly located? And why is Vinted still telling me that there is “nothing more” it can do? This is no longer simply a missing-parcel complaint. The evidence underlying Vinted’s decision has been contradicted by ACS itself. I expect Vinted to reopen the case, review the new evidence and provide an actual resolution — not another template response. A “final decision” does not make an incorrect decision correct. The parcel has been found. Enough with template responses and passing responsibility between companies. Return my parcel or compensate me for it. It really is that simple. #Vinted #ACS #CustomerService #ConsumerRights
