51 Days, Approved Claim of Rs. 90,000/- but NO Work Order - Pathetic Experience with ACKO Insurance

Acko General InsurancePC-2026-01102Insurance ClaimsAnonymous ·
I never thought I would have to post this, but I am left with no option. I am Dr. Swadeep Shukla, My car met with an accident on 05.08.2026 and OFFICIALLY APPROVED on 07th August 2026 for Rs. 90,000/- by ACKO General Insurance (Email from ******). Today is 25th September 2026. 51 Days have passed. Till date, ACKO has NOT released the Work Order to the workshop. My car is lying idle, at risk of rat bite and further damage. The workshop is now charging me Rs. 300/day as parking charges for a delay caused entirely by ACKO. When I follow up, instead of releasing the work order, Surveyor Mr. Vinod Marathi is threatening me to REJECT my already APPROVED claim on the pretext that my previous policy expired on 4th June. For your information - I had already informed Mr. Saifullah Sharif of ACKO about this 4th June issue on 24th July itself at the time of policy purchase and requested correction. ACKO issued the policy, approved the claim, and now wants to reject it. This is illegal and malafide. Is this how a customer is treated after claim approval? Is this the "Welcome Change" ACKO promises? If someone is having multiple injuries like fracture or head injuries, will you handle their health insurance claim also in this same manner? My humble request to ACKO Leadership: Release my Work Order immediately and start repair. Don't harass by threatening to reject an approved claim. Reimburse my parking charges. Still I am waiting for work order released soon
