Cashless Health Insurance Claim Rejected as “Excess Tariff” During Hospitalization

Got admitted due to a metabolic disorder and has been hospitalized for a week now. The so called cashless insurance policy of Royal Sundaram General Insurance Co. Limited is a nothing more than a joke. Every bit of details shared by the hospital was not enough for them. They simply rejected the medical bill with a comment, "Excess Tariff". Even though my policy claim amount is much higher, these guys were just so unprofessional. Reached out to their grievance team and still no help. Their so called support team just couldn't respond anything else than, sorry please try reimbursement.. If we need to reimburse everything why do you guys even have a cashless policy. If anyone trusts this insurance organization or has plans of opting just think twice.
